Christmas came alive at Little Olive Tree (Rochor) with an atmosphere of pure joy and excitement! The children, dressed in their cutest Christmas outfits, brought warmth and festive cheer to every corner of the school.
The celebration began with an icebreaker game, Passing the Presents, where little hands eagerly passed around wrapped boxes. Inside were letters that, when put together, spelled out "Jesus Is Born." This simple yet meaningful activity reminded everyone of the true reason for the season—Jesus, the greatest gift of all.
One of the highlights of the day was a special performance by our K1 children. Their angelic voices filled the room as they sang Christmas favorites like “Happy Birthday Jesus,” “最美的礼物,” and “Go Tell It on the Mountain.”
This year, we also witnessed something truly magical—A True Story, a shadow play performed by our K1 children. With clever use of light and shadow, they brought the Christmas story to life in a way that felt mysterious and enchanting. As the silhouettes danced on the screen, both children and teachers watched in awe, captivated by the wonder of the moment.
Mrs. Chan, Principal of LOT (Rochor) took a moment to share the deeper meaning of Christmas with the children. In simple yet profound words, she spoke about how Jesus' birth brings hope, peace, and joy to the world—a message that touched the hearts of our little ones.
