A Place for Every Child: Blooming Wallflower

Asher, 6, has Global Developmental Delay. This means that he takes longer to reach certain developmental milestones or to learn new skills like walking, talking or interacting with others socially. However, now that he in his fourth and final year in preschool, you may have difficulty identifying Asher amongst his peers.

This is the mark of a successful inclusive classroom: a classroom where children with additional needs are learning, growing and glowing alongside their peers. Today, Asher is blooming. He no longer stands out.

In Little Olive Tree by Presbyterian Preschool Services, we desire to help every child achieve their potential.
