Conformity, Unity and Serviceability - PCS and PPS Combined Dedication Service

Presbyterian Community Services (PCS) and Presbyterian Preschool Services (PPS) held their combined Dedication Service on 22 January 2022. It was an occasion to remind ourselves of our organisations’ mission in meeting the needs and challenges of the community.

The event was held onsite at Orchard Road Presbyterian Church for 100 staff and guests with another 300 staff at various satellite locations linked via ZOOM. It was a significant moment as staff from both organisations commit themselves to honour and magnify the name of our Lord through our services.

Rev Dr William Wan, emphasised the importance of Conformity to the image of Christ, Unity that comes from being other-centric, and Serviceability that is to love others with the love of God.

Conformity

因主里喜乐.

要活出基督,

不结党争锋,

而同堂呼欢.

Unity

要念顾他人,

因我必身微.

要主前谦跪,

不眼高心傲,

而同舟穿山.

Serviceability

要秉持事工

因主里有爱.

要献身活祭

不抢夺光环, 而同行事奉.

The event also celebrated the dedication of staff who have served in our organisations for many years. Their faithfulness is an exemplar for everyone.

As we stepped into 2022, both PCS and PPS endeavoured to do more for the community through “a concerted effort built on trusted relationship and like-minded purpose so as bring about a synergistic impact for care.”
