Apart from it being a day where parents often give their children a 'free pass' for them to eat and do what they like, Children's Day is also a time to celebrate and appreciate them for who they are! Indeed, each child is special in God's eyes and was fearfully and wonderfully made.
Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
On Thursday, our Centres celebrated our children in so many fun and exciting ways this year. Most importantly, the kids had a blast with their friends and also their teachers, who also played with them wholeheartedly and unabashedly since they were ultimately also children (at heart)!
Under the Sea - themed party at Pasir Ris 51
A few of our Centres such as PPS Bukit Batok, PPS Pasir Ris 51 and Little Olive Tree (Woodlands) got the children to dress according to their themed parties, or to simply come in their favourite outfits or as their favourite characters! Some even had a 'best dressed' award given out by level. Children were treated to games, the movies and even puppet shows and skits by the teachers too.

Others headed out for a time of water play, carnival games and picnics, where parents were invited to join in the celebrations too!
The children truly relished the day of exhilarating activities that was definitely a little different from usual school programming! We are so grateful to have these young charges for us to love, care and nurture, and will continue to protect and care for them to the best of our abilities. Happy Children's Day!
