On the morning of 24th Feb 2024, Little Olive Tree Hougang hosted their Open House for existing and potential parents. A range of exciting activities was organised to showcase to parents what the kids do every day in school and also to help parents understand more about the curriculum.
First, they had a classroom walkabout where parents and kids were able to check out the projects and artworks done by existing students. Parents were also able to get a chance to speak to the teachers and find out more about their child's progress or any other concerns they may have.
There were also lesson experiences conducted for parents to sit in and get a better understanding on how their child are being taught here in LOT Hougang. Mrs Lee, Asher's mom (PN Class) shared, "I really appreciated the Open House as it gives us a sense of how classes are conducted as well as more information on the syllabus. It also provides us an opportunity to speak to Asher’s teachers. It’s really rare that the Open House is done for existing parents and not just to attract new business. It shows that Little Olive Tree really prioritises the children that they are taking care of."

"It was well organised and a good opportunity for us to experience the class and view Jenna’s artwork," Mrs Lim, Jenna's mom (PG Class) shared.
Hearing words of encouragement from parents who visited us during the Open House really made our heart swell with happiness and sustains us, helping us remember why we do what we do for the kids.
