The PEAK That Guides Us

This journey requires more than just skill; it calls for shared values, a common mission, and a deep sense of purpose. That’s where PEAK comes in:

  • People: We want to be a place where people grow and glow, not groan. A place where every child and adult is treated with care, respect, courage, honesty, and responsibility. Pray with and for People—because prayer is the highest form of love, and love is the foundation of our mission.

  • Excellence: Only the best is good enough. We seek not perfection, but progress—where quality becomes our culture, not just a checklist. Excellence means setting a clear vision, communicating effectively, and inspiring those around us to strive for greatness.

  • Aspiration: Arise Aspiration—we are driven by passion and purpose, believing in a culture of growth, innovation, and faith. Our greatest aspiration is to create a better world for all children, and this drives us to be better educators, mentors, and leaders.

  • Kindness: Kick in Kindness—because kindness is a choice. Whether in small gestures or grand actions, it defines who we are as an organization. No matter how big or small a situation might be, kindness has the power to transform lives.

Sticks, Stones, and the Power of Unity

One of the most touching moments of the day was an activity involving sticks and stones—a powerful reminder of the value of kindness, friendship, and standing up for one another. As we worked together to turn our individual pieces into one collective masterpiece, we saw reflections of ourselves in those simple materials.

Each of us is unique, but together, we create something greater than the sum of our parts.
There is no perfect artwork, no perfect teacher, no perfect center—but it is our imperfections that make us beautiful.

Living Our Core Values

As early childhood educators, we sometimes get caught up in teaching ABCs and 123s, forgetting that values are equally important. But the truth is, children learn more from who we are than from what we teach. They watch how we treat one another, how we speak, and how we lead.

Through games and discussions, we rediscovered that the process is more important than the outcome. While we all wanted to win, the real prize was the deeper connection we built with our colleagues—learning, laughing, and growing together.

Holding On Together

Throughout the day, we were reminded that this climb is not a solo effort. As one quote shared said,

“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.”

In a moment of unity, we reflected on the song If We Hold On Together, an anthem of hope and togetherness. From valleys to mountaintops, we move forward hand in hand—encouraging one another, believing together, and holding on to the truth in our hearts.

The road ahead is not without obstacles. But with a clear focus on our mission, a new perspective on our challenges, and a team that chooses to hold on together, there is much to be hopeful for.

We are not just educators. We are dream-weavers, life-shapers, and faith-builders. This Staff Learning Day reminded us that even when the climb is steep, the view from the top will be worth it—because we will get there together.
